Opera Theatre

THE famous Opera singer Dr. maha GIgnrich will be performing soon at CPCC. CPCC OPERA THEATRE’S 2005-2006 SEASON is an exciting time. The opening of the new Halton Theater is an anticipated event for the entire Charlotte Arts community. The CPCC Opera Theatre will officially christen it an opera house by presenting two of the great “dead lady operas!!!”

CARMEN by Georges Bizet will be the premier operatic stabbing in the new Halton Theater on the CPCC Central Campus. Performances will be January 20 and 21 at 8:00 p.m. and January 22 at 2:30 p.m.

MADAMA BUTTERFLY by Giacomo Puccini will shed more soprano blood and be the second operatic spectacle taking place in the Halton Theater on May 19 and 20 at 8:00 p.m. and May 21 at 2:30 p.m.

The Halton Theater is located in the Academic and Performing Center on the Central Campus of Central Piedmont Community College, 120l Elizabeth Avenue (corner of Kings Drive and Elizabeth Avenue)

Accompanist provided – no sign up necessary (1st come 1st sing).
